Have you ever wondered...?
Have you ever wondered how did my life end up this way? I find myself asking that question a lot, as if I don't already know the answer. The choices and decisions that I have made are why things are they way they are in my life, the question I really need to ask is why I made the choices I did and what, if anything I can do differently. I wish I had been more financially responsible, but trauma and loss caused me to make some of the poor choices I did. I was always taught that credit is very important, and it's not until i got older that I realized just how much. Let me say that the "Real World" is just that... REAL. When you are out on your own every decision that you make is important so you need to make it count. Bills are very real, paying rent, buying groceries, none of these things are things that you think about when you are living at home depending on your parents. I wonder if I went back in time if i would follow the same path? I've been working since I was 16 so by no means would I consider myself to be a lazy person. I was determined to be able to buy what I wanted so I wouldn't have to hear that dreaded phrase " well if you don't like what I buy, then get a job and pay for it yourself" anymore. lol. I know that we have all heard that a time or 2. By the time I graduated high school I had saved up a little money and shortly after I started community college. I was spoiled by the fact that i still really had no bills to pay. I was depending on mommy for mostly everything except my "extra-curriculars". I took advantage of that fact and got a little wild which caused my mom to put me out. I went from house to house until a friend helped me out and said that i could stay with her until I got on my feet. Did I mention that at this time I had no job and a car note also? That's when i began to realize that maybe I need to grow up a little and get it together. About a month later, I talked to my mom and she allowed me to come home, but of course you know there are always conditions, which I was proud to accept, but yet I still took advantage of the fact that i was living at home again and I would be able to get away with somethings, After moving back home, things would take another turn and not necessarily for the better... TO BE CONTINUED...
